At PS 112Q, attendance is about more than being present; it's about belonging. When our Hawks show up every day, they strengthen routines, build confidence, and stay connected to their learning community.

Our school takes a supportive, family-centered approach to attendance. We celebrate growth, recognize effort, and work closely with families to remove barriers when attendance becomes challenging. Whether it’s an attendance postcard, a schoolwide challenge, or a community event, our goal is to encourage students in positive and meaningful ways.

Families are encouraged to use the School Year Calendar to plan ahead and stay informed about important dates. Whenever possible, we ask that appointments and trips be scheduled outside of school hours so our Hawks don’t miss valuable learning time.
